Window Film Made For The Way Offices Work

Offices have problems homes don't. Rows of screens facing bright glass, desks that bake in the afternoon sun, glass meeting rooms with no privacy, and a building manager with rules about what the outside of the building can look like.

Office window tinting solves these problems without replacing a single pane of glass. The right film on your external windows cuts glare and heat, and frosted film on internal partitions creates private spaces while keeping the open, light feel of a modern fit-out.

We work with business owners, office managers and facility managers across Sydney to fix comfort complaints quickly, with as little disruption to the team as possible.

Installed Without Disrupting Your Team

Most of our office work happens when nobody is at their desk. Here's how a typical office job runs:

  1. Site visit & film selection
  2. Film specs for your building manager
  3. Installation after hours or on weekends
  4. Clean handover, no downtime

Why Sydney Offices Choose Prime Tint Solutions

Minimal Disruption

We only need around half a metre of space next to each glass panel, so there is no need to clear the office.

After-Hours Installation

Evenings, weekends or overnight. We schedule around your meetings and deadlines, not the other way around.

Premium Solar Gard Films

Commercial films from Solar Gard, with most office installations backed by a 10 year manufacturer warranty.

Building Approval Support

Many office buildings have rules about window appearance. We supply film data sheets so your building manager can sign off quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Will window film make our office too dark?

No. Office films come in a range of shades, from almost clear to dark. For most offices we recommend a light to medium film that cuts glare and heat while keeping the space bright. We can show samples on your glass before you decide.

Can you install the film while staff are working?

Yes, smaller jobs can be done during business hours because we only need a small working area at each window. For larger floors, or if you prefer no interruption at all, we install after hours, on weekends or overnight.

Do we need approval from our building manager?

Often, yes. Many commercial buildings control how the outside of the building looks, which matters most with reflective films. We provide the film data sheets your building manager or strata needs, and can recommend films that suit common building rules.

How long does an office installation take?

Each decent-size glass panel usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, including cleaning and prep. A small office or a few meeting rooms can be done in a few hours, while a full floor may take one or more nights.

Can frosted film include our logo?

Yes. Frosted film on glass partitions and entry doors can be cut or printed with your logo or a custom design. Designs need to be arranged in advance so they can be produced before installation.

Will window film reduce our air conditioning costs?

Heat control films can reject a large share of the solar heat coming through your windows, with darker and more reflective films rejecting over 80%. Less heat coming in means your air conditioning works less, especially in offices with large west- or north-facing glass.

Do glass partitions need markings?

Australian Standard AS 1288 requires certain glazing, such as glass doors and full-height panels that could be mistaken for an opening, to be made visible. Frosted bands or patterns are a common way to do this. Check the exact requirements with your fit-out designer or building manager, and we can install the markings to suit.
