The TrueVue solar film by Solar Gard is suitable for all types of windows as long as there is no Low-E coating on any of the window panes. The existence of a Low-E coated side requires following some guidelines specific to each film to make sure there will be no thermal cracking in the future due to thermal stress from excessive heat.
